Farenhyt Fire Alarm Systems in the UAE

Farenhyt fire alarm systems are Honeywell's intelligent addressable fire alarm range — scalable control panels, voice evacuation and wireless detection built for schools, hotels, offices, retail and warehouses. General International Group (GIG) supplies, installs, commissions and maintains Farenhyt systems across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE.

GIG is an authorized sub-distributor of Honeywell Middle East FZE for NOTIFIER, ESSER, Morley-IAS, Farenhyt and PAVA fire products in the UAE. That means one accountable partner for your panels, detectors, spare parts and long-term support — backed by more than four decades of fire and life safety work in the UAE since 1982 (our history).

The Farenhyt Series Range

The Farenhyt Series IFP control panels share one programming platform, so a system can start small and grow with the building. New to addressable systems? Read how a fire alarm control panel works.

  • IFP-75 Panel

Compact intelligent panel for small to medium buildings — up to 150 addressable points on one loop (75 IDP/SK sensors + 75 modules, or 75 Hochiki SD devices).

  • IFP-300 / IFP-300ECS

Mid-range panel expandable to 300 points, networkable up to 32 sites. The ECS version adds built-in voice evacuation for small to mid-size facilities.

  • IFP-2100 / IFP-2100ECS

Flagship panel expandable to 2,100 points, networking up to 32 panels, with eight configurable Flexput™ circuits. ECS version for large, complex buildings.

  • SWIFT® Wireless

Up to four SWIFT gateways per panel, each supporting up to 49 wireless devices — ideal for heritage interiors, hotels and fit-outs where cabling is difficult.

  • Voice Evacuation (ECS)

Emergency communications and fire detection in one system — pre-recorded and live messages for phased, orderly evacuation.

  • Dual-Protocol Detection

Supports System Sensor IDP/SK devices or Hochiki SD devices — useful when upgrading an existing installation. See fire alarm system types and detectors.

Frequently Asked Questions about Farenhyt Fire Alarm Systems

What is a Farenhyt fire alarm system?

Farenhyt is a Honeywell brand of intelligent addressable fire alarm systems. The Farenhyt Series includes the IFP-75, IFP-300 and IFP-2100 control panels, SWIFT wireless detection and ECS voice evacuation, all sharing a common programming platform so systems can scale as a building grows.

Which Farenhyt panel is right for my building?

As a guide, the IFP-75 suits smaller buildings (up to 150 points), the IFP-300 suits mid-size facilities (up to 300 points) and the IFP-2100 suits large or multi-building sites (up to 2,100 points and 32 networked panels). Our engineers confirm the selection after reviewing your drawings and device count.

Is GIG an authorized Farenhyt supplier in the UAE?

Yes. General International Group is an authorized sub-distributor of Honeywell Middle East FZE for Farenhyt fire products in the UAE, alongside NOTIFIER, ESSER, Morley-IAS and PAVA.

Can Farenhyt be approved by Civil Defence in Dubai and Abu Dhabi?

Farenhyt panels carry international listings such as UL, and selected models are FM approved. Approval is granted by Civil Defence for each project, based on the design submittal and the product approvals in force at the time. We prepare the submittal and confirm current product acceptance with the relevant authority before supply.

Does Farenhyt support wireless fire detection?

Yes. SWIFT® wireless technology lets Farenhyt panels use wireless smoke and heat detectors and modules — up to four gateways, each with up to 49 devices on the IFP-75 and IFP-300 — ideal where running cables is difficult or would damage finishes.

Can Farenhyt connect to VESDA and other building systems?

Yes. Farenhyt panels interface with VESDA aspirating smoke detection, sprinkler monitoring, access control door release, lift recall and HVAC shutdown through modules and relays.

Do you offer maintenance contracts for Farenhyt systems?

Yes. We provide preventive maintenance, periodic testing, reporting for Civil Defence inspections and emergency call-out under an annual maintenance contract (AMC).
